The Fall 2024 PSAT exams will be administered at Seton on Wednesday, October 2. The 9th graders will take the PSAT 8/9 and the 10th and 11th graders will take the PSAT. All PSAT and SAT exams are now administered digitally, not with pencil-and-paper, world-wide.
- For Seton to accommodate this test format, it is necessary for students to provide their own devices on test day or request, in advance, to borrow a Seton device. Many of the 10th and 11th graders took the PSAT 10 when Seton offered it in April 2024 and are familiar with these requirements.
- An application called Bluebook needs to be downloaded from the College Board and installed on the device that your child will bring to school on October 2. (https://bluebook.collegeboard.org/)
- You can run Bluebook on a Windows or Mac device or on an iPad. Please note the following: Only Windows (10 or 11) or Mac (macOS 11.7.5 or later) devices are supported by Bluebook. More information on approved devices and requirements is listed here:
https://bluebook.collegeboard.org/students/approved-devices
- Any student planning to take the PSAT 8/9 or the PSAT on October 2 must first download Bluebook onto his/her device, complete Seton’s PSAT registration form, and submit it by Friday, September 13th.
Further information and instructions will follow the registration period ending on September 13th.
