The Fall 2025 PSAT exams will be administered at Seton on Wednesday, October 8th.  The 9th graders will take the PSAT 8/9 and the 10th and 11th graders will take the PSAT.

All PSAT exams are administered digitally and thus require some preparation in advance.  Many of you are experienced with digital testing at Seton, but as a refresher and for families new to digital PSAT testing, here are the important details:

  • It is necessary for students to provide their own devices on test day or request, in advance, to borrow a Seton device.
  • An application called Bluebook needs to be downloaded onto your device from the College Board website (https://bluebook.collegeboard.org/students). We ask that you complete this step before submitting your registration form.  (This helps ensure it can be run on your device and that you have the most up-to-date version of Bluebook.)
  • Device specifications: Bluebook runs on a Windows or Mac device or on an iPad. Please note the following: Only Windows (10 or 11) or Mac (macOS 12 or later) are supported by Bluebook. Once you decide which device your child will use, please read the detailed information regarding device requirements and Bluebook specifications:

*Bluebook cannot be run on a personal Chromebook. *

  • Any student planning to take the PSAT 8/9 or the PSAT on October 8 must complete Seton’s PSAT/PSAT 8/9 registration form (due September 18) and download Bluebook onto his/her device. If you have more than one child taking a PSAT exam, only 1 form is needed per family.

Further information and instructions will follow in September via Jupiter Ed email.  Please let Mrs. Reyes know if you have any questions! (540-683-1942)
