On Friday, October 13th, Seton School celebrated the CENTENARY OF THE MIRACLE OF THE SUN with a Mass and procession of the Blessed Sacrament and Our Lady of Fatima Statue. After the procession Seton’s Choir led everyone in the Salve Regina and all present recited 3 of the Fatima prayers (Pardon Prayer, Angel Prayer, Consecration Prayer). A balloon Rosary was elevated and a final blessing was given by Fr. Vander Woude. All enjoyed pizza and fellowship afterward.
We thank God for the great gift of Our Lady’s apparitions in Fatima, Portugal and for this beautiful day. The closeness of Our Lady to us and her requests of prayer, penance, and devotion to her Immaculate Heart are as important for us today as they were in 1917. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
“The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families…of the life of peoples and nations that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.“ – Sister Maria Lucía of Fatima
What a grace-filled day!
