New & Improved Saint John Paul II Center (aka gymnasium) Lights

Shortly before Christmas, Santa’s helpers were busy getting ready for the big day but still found time to also work on an important Seton project.  It was the completion of the Let There Be Light project to replace the Saint John Paul II Center (aka gymnasium) lighting system.  Just before Christmas was the first time the space was available for the three-day project which entailed replacing the 25-year-old lighting technology with a significantly brighter yet much more energy efficient LED lighting system (see before and after photos).  In addition these new lights have functionality not previously available: instant off and on capabilities and are dimmable.

As a multi-purpose facility the JPII Center is the most used space at Seton, in near constant use day and night for a wide variety of functions.  The improvements these new lights bring will enhance the atmosphere of every event there for many years to come.  This was all made possible through your support of the annual Colonel P. Memorial Golf Tournament and the Let There Be Light campaign of the Seton Athletic Boosters Committee.

We thank you and are grateful for everyone’s generosity. What a wonderful way to start 2019!
