On Friday, Feb 8th, many Seton students and teachers participated in the Night to Shine held in the Parish Activities Center at All Saints Catholic Church. The Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. All Saints was one of more than 650 churches around the world hosting ‘2019 Night to Shine,’ sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. 100 honored guests and their parents attended and over 200 volunteers (many from Seton) made this night possible.

Many of the Seton students participated as buddies for the 100 registered guests. As buddies, the students were responsible for ensuring their guest had an unforgettable prom experience. This included escorting their guest to hair and makeup or shoeshine, taking them on a limo ride, joining them for dinner, and dancing the night away. The highlight of the night came when the buddies got to crown their guest as the king or queen of the prom. It was truly an amazing night and everyone that participated, whether as a guest or a volunteer, was touched by the love that was shared in the room. A love that can only come from God.
